Amounts are rounded for display. This scales quantities only: pan size, cooking time, leavening, and seasoning may need separate adjustments.

Results reflect the last calculation. Recalculate after editing inputs.

The simplest recipe math.

Divide the number of servings you want by the original servings. That’s your multiplier. Each ingredient is multiplied by that number, while its unit stays the same.

A little exampleA recipe for 4 uses 200 g of flour. To serve 6, the multiplier is 6 ÷ 4 = 1.5. You’ll need 300 g of flour.

A few kitchen notes.

  • Use weight for precision. This tool doesn’t convert cups to grams, since that depends on the ingredient.
  • For part of an egg, beat it and measure the portion by weight. Consider adjusting servings to use whole eggs.
  • Salt, spices, pan dimensions, and bake times don’t always scale neatly. Taste when safe and use your judgment.
